Swarmed with work.
It's like a suicidal nosedive into projects and assignments when weeks 11 and 12 arrives. I can't wait to jump in, because neither can I wait to climb out of that shitpool.
Loads of event over the past weeks, amongst them the earthquake-cum-tsunami in Japan. Japan proved to the world that the adage "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" isn't a fallacy; the fact that they got roads running six days after the earthquake says alot about the cohesiveness and community spirit that falls short in many nations. While we all sit and pray that the nuclear crisis will not erupt into a full-blown nuclear meltdown, let's all re-evaluate ourselves using Japan as the benchmark and see how much we lack. Let's all pray for Japan.

And the HDB application arrived in the email with a big bang. Our queue number was... a four-digit number. Well, at least we tried. Nothing beats having no queue number at all. I just don't understand why there's an over-subscription every single time, even if the location isn't ideal. I don't see hoards of people queuing up to get married. I don't see the birth rates going up. So why do you need a flat when you're not even making babies?! And this is the reason why I don't buy lottery.
